Product description: Tanking Basic for Yamaha MT-07 (2021-2024)

The Hepco & Becker tanking Basic was specially developed for the Yamaha MT-07 of the construction years 2021 to 2024. This tanking enables reliable and easy assembly of a tank bag from Hepco & Becker on your machine. The scope of delivery includes the tanking and an adaptable counter holder, which is attached to the shape of the tank and the handlebars on the tank bag. Access to the tank cover remains without restrictions even with fueling fueling.

The tank bag is installed by simply putting on the tanking and is securely locked by a clear click noise. The unlocking is done by means of a train on the belt of the tank bag in the direction of travel, whereupon the backpack can be easily removed. No general operating license (ABE) or an entry in the vehicle documents is required in Germany to use the tank bag system.

Technical details and characteristics

  • Stable, even at high speeds
  • Mechanical locking for simple handling
  • No ABE or entry in Germany required
  • Maximum speed with assembled tank bag: 130 km/h
  • Recommended maximum payload: approx. 3 kg

Differences to other tanking systems

The basic tanking is mechanically locked and thus differs from the lock-it tankingen, which also use magnets for centering. However, both systems use the same model -specific metal ring. It is important to note that tank bags and tankers have to be compatible and do not work across system.

Further information

Please always note the information from the motorcycle manufacturer and the specific instructions that are delivered with the product. A tank bag with lock-IT counterholder is not compatible with a basic tanking and vice versa.
