The Hepco & Becker tanking Basic is specially designed for the Yamaha MT-07 motorcycle model from the year of construction 2014 to 2017. This product enables safe and easy attachment of tank bags from the same manufacturer.

Product features

• The tanking ensures stable assembly of the tank bag, even at high driving speeds.
• The operation is carried out by a mechanical lock, which enables a clearly audible snapping of the tank bag on the tanking.
• To remove the tank bag, the unlocking mechanism, which is located at the front of the tank backpack, is operated.
• In Germany, no general operating license (ABE) or an entry in the vehicle documents is required for the tank sack system.
• The maximum recommended speed with assembled tank bag is 130 km/h.
• The recommended maximum payload of the tank bag is around 3 kg.
• It is recommended to observe the specific information from the motorcycle manufacturer and the model -specific information.

Scope of delivery and assembly

The scope of delivery includes the tanking basic and an adaptable counter holder, which is mounted on the tank bag according to the tank shape and the handlebar. The fuel lid remains fully accessible even when fueled.

Differences to other tanking systems

The basic tanking mechanically locks, whereas the Lock-IT tanking also uses magnets for centering. Both systems use the same model -specific metal ring, but differ in the type of domes mounted on the tanking.

Further information: A tank bag with a lock-IT counter holder is not compatible with a basic tanking and vice versa. It is important that tank sac countertakers and tanking come from the same system.
