BASIC tank ring for the KTM 690 Duke 2014–2019
This model-specific tank ring allows a Hepco & Becker BASIC tank bag to be attached to the KTM 690 Duke from model years 2014 to 2019.

Complete matching kit
The black tank ring is supplied together with the required retaining plate for the tank bag. Access to the fuel cap is retained with the tank ring fitted.
Operation and requirements
- Entirely mechanical locking mechanism with an audible click
- The tank bag is released using a forward-facing strap
- Recommended maximum speed: 130 km/h with the tank bag fitted
- Recommended load: approximately 3 kg in the tank bag
- Weight: 0.3 kg; made in Germany
The tank bag must also be compatible with the BASIC system. BASIC and Lock-it retaining plates and tank rings are not mutually compatible. When installed as intended, neither ABE nor registration is required.
