KTM 690 Duke [2012-2013] - BASIC Tank Ring

BASIC tank ring for the KTM 690 Duke 2012–2013

The vehicle-specific BASIC tank ring is designed to hold a Hepco & Becker tank bag on the KTM 690 Duke from model years 2012 and 2013.

Tank ring and locking unit as a kit

The complete mounting kit is supplied with a black tank ring and the corresponding retaining plate for the tank bag. The fuel cap remains accessible with the ring fitted.

Mechanical BASIC system

• The tank bag is positioned and locks into place with an audible click
• Removal after releasing it using the front strap
• Recommended speed with the tank bag fitted: no more than 130 km/h
• Recommended tank bag load: approximately 3 kg
• Kit weight: 0.3 kg; country of origin: Germany

The retaining plate is already included with this product. A suitable BASIC tank bag is also required for use. Lock-it system components cannot be combined with the BASIC system. When installed as intended, neither ABE nor registration is required.
