BASIC tank ring for KTM 1290 Super Duke R from 2014 to 2019

This tank ring was offered for the 2014–2019 KTM 1290 Super Duke R. It allows a suitable Hepco & Becker tank bag to be attached using the mechanical BASIC system.

Complete with tank-bag counterpart

The black ring and matching retaining plate are both included. The retaining plate is positioned on the tank bag according to the tank shape and steering lock. No additional BASIC fastening part is required; the tank bag itself is not included.

Locking and fuel-tank access

When fitted, the tank bag clicks audibly into the ring. A strap at the front of the tank bag unlocks the connection for removal. The fuel cap can still be opened with the tank ring installed.

System compatibility

Only a BASIC retaining plate can connect to this BASIC tank ring. Lock-it components are incompatible. Neither ABE approval nor registration is required when installed as intended. KTM information and model-specific instructions must also be observed.
