BASIC tank ring for Yamaha BT 1100 Bulldog from 2001 to 2006

This model-specific mounting kit allows a Hepco & Becker BASIC tank bag to be fitted to the 2001 to 2006 Yamaha BT 1100 Bulldog.

Complete connection kit

It includes the black BASIC tank ring and the corresponding retaining plate for the tank bag. The position of the locking unit can be adjusted to suit the tank shape and steering lock. The required tank bag is not part of the kit.

Mechanical locking and release

When the tank bag is fitted, it audibly engages on the ring. The connection can be released for removal using a strap attached to the front of the tank bag. The fuel cap can still be opened with the ring fitted.

Observe system compatibility

The BASIC tank ring and tank-bag retaining plate must be used together. A Lock-it retaining plate cannot be attached to this ring. When installed as intended, no ABE or registration is required. The vehicle manufacturer's specifications and model-specific instructions are additionally authoritative.
