This model-specific kit provides the connection for a Hepco & Becker BASIC tank bag on the 2025 to 2026 Suzuki GSX-8T.

Tank ring including retaining plate

The complete mounting kit consists of the black BASIC tank ring and the corresponding retaining plate for the tank bag. It can be positioned on the tank bag according to the shape of the tank and steering lock. A tank bag is not part of the kit.

Mechanical connection

When fitted, the tank bag audibly engages with the ring. It is released using the strap at the front of the tank bag and can then be lifted off. The fuel cap can still be opened with the tank ring fitted.

Check the locking system

A BASIC retaining plate is required for this tank ring. Lock-it retaining plates and BASIC rings cannot be combined. When installed as intended, no ABE or registration is required. The motorcycle manufacturer's specifications and model-specific requirements must be observed.
