The KAOKO Cruise Control Cruise Control Speed Stabilizer is an innovative motorcycle accessory that improves the control and handling of the motorcycle. This device allows the driver to safely and precisely adjust the throttle position, ensuring comfort and stability, especially on long journeys.
A throttle stabilizer is a throttle control mechanism that allows the driver to lock the throttle to a desired opening or setting. The KAOKO cruise control kit consists of a simple, ingenious and robustly constructed friction nut connected to a special KAOKO handlebar end weight. The KAOKO bar end weight is similar in appearance and weight to the manufacturer's original bar end weight. Most installations simply require removing the original bar end weight and installing the KAOKO cruise control kit.
To activate the stabilizer: While the throttle is being turned on, the friction nut can be clamped between the pinky finger and the palm of the hand. This action tightens the nut and creates enough friction to hold the throttle in the desired position. The friction is designed to allow the rider to continue to open and close the throttle, but with a slight rotational resistance.
To disable: While turning back the throttle, pinch the friction nut between your pinky finger and palm. The throttle should open freely and close quickly when deactivated correctly.
Can I install the KAOKO cruise control speed stabilizer myself? Yes, the kit includes a set of unique and specific product assembly instructions. Assembly is quick and easy and can be completed in just a few minutes. In most cases, installing the KAOKO cruise control only requires removing the original throttle side bar end weight and replacing it with the KAOKO kit.
