Complete RAD fairing kit in Avus Black and Matt Black

This comprehensive RAD kit redesigns the front and tank area of the BMW R 1200 GS LC. The combination of painted ABS fairing parts, functional airflow elements, stainless steel and CNC-machined aluminium creates slimmer, more tapered lines while also changing ergonomics and airflow.

Design and function

• Tank covers in Avus Black with graphics and transparent protection
• Lightweight side panels and centre cover made from matt-black ABS
• Redesigned front section with mounts for the original R 1200 GS logos
• Radiator deflectors direct hot radiator air away from the rider’s legs
• Airbox snorkels replace the original airflow restrictors and increase performance in the mid-range
• Stainless steel side elements generate downforce to increase airflow around the airbox snorkel

Materials and details

• Tank covers, side panels, radiator deflectors, end element and centre cover made from ABS
• Side protection elements made from sandblasted and electropolished stainless steel
• Air intakes made from solid Ergal, CNC-machined and subsequently anodised
• Laser-cut stainless steel mesh and side Unit Garage logo on the air intakes
• Matt-black and opaque transparent finishes on selected fairing elements

Installation and compatibility

The components are prepared for installation and supplied with holes and the required mounting hardware. Additional parts are required for installation on models from model years 2013 to 2016; these are already included with this version.
