This two-piece cover set for the BMW R1200 GS R model years 2004 to 2012 gives the motorcycle a distinctive vintage look. The combination of Alpine White paintwork, red graphics and a clear protective finish is reminiscent of the legendary Paris-Dakar version.

Well-Designed Features

• The right side panel can be quickly removed for air filter maintenance.
• A slot in the rear mounting bracket allows a tank bag to be attached.

Scope of Delivery

The set includes two tank covers with pre-drilled holes, screws, rubber buffers, a rear mounting bracket and machined bushings for the front mounting points.

Installation Notes

• The motorcycle's three original upper M5 clips are used to connect the two covers.
• The supplied M5 x 12 mm button-head screws are inserted into these clips.
• The original pointed M5 screws must not be used, as they may damage the tank covers.
• The original R1200-GS logo for the tank sides is available separately through the official spare parts distribution network.

Compatibility

Suitable for BMW R1200 GS R models from model years 2004 to 2012. Not compatible with the original GS seat.
