The PROX forged piston is designed to replace the original piston of the KTM 450 SX F in the entire 2013-2022 model year range. Manufacturing on modern CNC systems supports precisely manufactured piston components for use in engines.

Function and execution

The forged aluminum piston has standard compression and a compression ratio of 12.6:1. The piston alloy used is designed for low expansion and reduced friction. This makes the piston set suitable for renewing the upper engine area within the specified vehicle assignment.
