VERTEX Race Evolution cast piston for KTM 125 SX

The VERTEX Race Evolution cast piston is designed for use in the 2-stroke KTM 125 SX. Its design is aimed at off-road racing applications and combines standard piston compression with precisely defined dimensions for the right selection.

Function and execution

The piston is made of aluminum and is manufactured as a cast version. A special MoS2 coating with pockets provided supports the smooth movement of the piston and cylinder. The piston has a nitrided steel ring. The reduced overland height is tailored to the Race Evolution version.
