Comprehensive care for canvas, leather and split leather

This care set bundles various products for cleaning, impregnating and caring for accessories, bags and jackets made of canvas, smooth leather or split leather. Which agent is suitable must be decided based on the respective material and the associated application instructions.

Scope of delivery

• Cotton bag with Unit Garage logo
• Waterproofing spray
• Block of solid wax
• Black or brown color cream, 50 ml
• Soft cleaning brush with wooden handle
• Brush with brass bristles and wooden handle for split leather
• Cleaning disc, 100 × 60 mm and 8 mm thick
• Microfiber cloth

Impregnation

The waterproofing spray is suitable for the regular treatment of leather, canvas and split leather. If necessary, clean the item with warm, clear water. The spray can be used on damp or dry material. Shake the bottle, spray evenly from a distance of 10 to 15 cm and then wipe off with a clean, damp cloth. For optimal results, allow to dry for 12 hours.

Safety notice: Keep out of the reach of children, avoid eye and prolonged skin contact and use only in a well-ventilated area.

Care with solid wax

For regularly used accessories, bags or jackets, resealing is recommended at least once a year. First remove dirt and sand and clean the material with a sponge and cold water. Do not use soap or detergents.

• Do not machine wash
• Do not dry clean
• Do not iron
• Do not tumble dry
• Spread wax sparingly with a soft cloth or sponge
• Treat seams and folds carefully
• Dry with a hairdryer after waxing for an even finish
• Then hang in a warm place overnight

Color cream for smooth leather

The black or brown color cream is used to cover scratches and scuffs on smooth leather. It must not be used on split leather. Clean the area, massage the cream in with a sponge, let it dry for 15 minutes and then polish with a soft cloth.

Brushes and cleaning disc

• The soft brush allows for even, scratch-free cleaning.
• The brush with brass bristles is intended for cleaning and caring for split leather.
• The cleaning disc removes glue and sticky residue from leather or split leather. To do this, apply light pressure over the area and then clean it with a soft cloth.
