The H20 I-Tech cylinder set from MALOSSI is intended for the Vespa GTS Super 4 T from 2019 to 2023. With a bore of Ø 63 mm, 58.7 mm stroke and 183 cm³ displacement, it offers clearly defined technical key data for use in the competitive sector.

The cylinder is made of a primary aluminum alloy with a high content of hardened and tempered silicon. The cylinder liner has a silicon carbide coating in a galvanic nickel die. A crossed smoothing with two diamond passes and very limited tolerances characterizes the design of the raceway. Machining is carried out on machine tools with high-precision numerical control. Newly calculated and improved heat exchange surfaces complement the design.

Pistons and piston rings

The ultra-compact, lightweight and reinforced piston is designed with three rings. It consists of a special aluminum alloy with a high silicon content and low thermal expansion. The sliding surfaces have a tin coating. The piston is also machined on machine tools with numerical control and has improved heat exchange surfaces.

  • First ring: compression ring made of nitrided and chrome-plated steel
  • Second ring: special cast iron
  • Wiper ring: three-piece, made of special chrome-plated steel alloy
  • Special rings with high sliding ease and very high mechanical resistance
