Differences to other tanking models

Compared to the Lock-IT tanking from Hepco & Becker, which also uses magnets for centering, the basic tanking offers a purely mechanical lock. Both systems use the same model -specific metal ring, but differ in the type of locking domes that are either made of plastic or with magnetic support.

A tank bag that is designed for the lock-IT system cannot be mounted on a basic tanking and vice versa. It is important that the tank bag and the tanking come from the same system to ensure compatibility and security.
