Overview

The AXP Adventure underrun protection made of 8mm thick HDPE (high-density polyethylene) offers comprehensive protection for the engine block, exhaust system, water pump and crankcase of your motorcycle. Developed for the highest loads and adapted to BMW F900GS models, this underrun protection combines robustness with advanced technology.

Material and design

In contrast to conventional materials such as carbon or aluminum, HDPE is characterized by its exceptional resistance and lightness. It is 30 to 40% lighter than aluminum and returns to its original shape after impact. This enables obstacles to be overcome smoothly without permanent deformation of the material.

Installation and compatibility

The front and rear mounting systems attach directly to the engine block, complemented by a wedge system for additional stability. Special 8mm thick foams on the sides and under the motor are used to prevent friction and effectively absorb shock. The Black Plate is specifically designed for use with BMW OEM and SW Motech crash bars, making it an ideal choice for BMW F900GS owners. However, please note that the skid plate is not compatible with all model years.
